The research and production of galvanized anti-fingerprint steel sheets originated from Japan. Anti-fingerprint treatment was first intended to solve the problem of surface contamination of components by operators’ fingerprints during production of home appliances.

Through special surface treatment, galvanized anti-fingerprint steel sheets will have good resistance to fingerprints, and offer good machinability, paintability, and conductibility. Galvanized anti-fingerprint steel sheets for motors and electronic equipment are environment-friendly chromium-free products in conformity with relevant environmental load standards. They are widely used in home appliance components and boxes, coil pipe fittings, and computer cases.
